Ready to get started on solids? Join Rachel Liston, MS, OTR/L, a licensed pediatric occupational therapist, for a practical approach to introducing solids the baby-led way. You will gain all the knowledge and confidence you need to begin feeding your baby, while also learning about feeding from a sensory and developmental standpoint. This workshop will provide you with everything from handouts and videos to meal plans and gear recommendations, while allowing you the opportunity to see what a baby-led meal may look like and covering all your questions on getting started!
Babies in arms are welcome! Class recommended for parents & caregivers of babies 2-8 months.
About your instructor, Rachel Liston: Rachel Liston, MS, OTR/L, is a Nest mom and has lived in Manhattan Beach for the past 9 years with her husband, goldendoodle, and son Leo (21 months). After receiving her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy, Rachel worked at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, providing acute care to patients, while also gaining expertise with neurological disorders in an outpatient setting. Rachel has extensive experience with sensory-based feeding in clinic, home, and workshop settings and it is her goal to make sure every parent feels confident when introducing solids to their babies!
